"I had friends over one day and one got a bit too wasted and ended up punching through our window (long story short). However, Yengst glass made the process really easy.

I called in the afternoon, they answered instantly and said they can come within 30 minutes due to another customer needing window replacement in Poway.

BOB was our provider, he looked at the window, chipped off all the excess in 5 minutes. Then, he went to his car, cut the glass, popped it in, and voila, the job was done within 15 minutes.

The glass quality is great and I am very pleased in both the service and work ethic that Yengst provided.

"Eric Yengst just completed another job for my wife and I so I visited Yelp to leave my impressions. Doing so, I came across a 1 Star review and after reading it I'm trying to figure out who it was at Yengst Glass that this guy was talking to that resulted in his unpleasant experience. I've had Eric complete 3 jobs at my home over the last couple of years and on every single occasion he and his partner could not have been more accomodating and professional. And this most recent job was especially challenging. My daughters glass shower door installation required some follow-up work to install a water deflection strip and Eric did it without delay or attitude.

His previous work in our home was an install of 3 rolling mirror closet doors. That too had its own unique challenges which Eric overcame and 2 years later the doors still work flawlessly. In fact, when he was here doing the shower door, he took the time to clean the tracks and rollers of dust & gunk so they rolled as freely as the day they were installed.

We knew we'd be going with Yengst Glass but, just for piece of mind, we did bid this most recent job and Eric did indeed come in with the most attractive quote. That PLUS the confidence he instilled from previous work that the job would be done right and be done without unnecessary delay made him a slam-dunk choice.

My wife is a perfectionist and Eric met her standards and did so pleasantly and with a smile. I hate to call out any of my fellow Yelpers but, frankly, I have to wonder if the previous reviewer "N.V." is just a competitor of Yengst Glass with a vivid imagination and too much time on his hands."

"I've had some pretty horrendous customer "service" from some contractors, so I called two glass companies and scheduled them for the same time (early bird gets the worm). The Yengst guys showed up on time and completely prepared for the job. One of the front windows in my mobile home needed to be replaced. It has an unusual angle at one end, not your normal rectangle. They took one look and a few measurements and had the glass cut and fit in just a few minutes. As they were finishing up the job, the other window company called to say they were having trouble finding my place. I told them not to bother. Yengst vacuumed the area inside and outside and cleaned the new window thoroughly. The price was very fair."
